Turnstone Development’s commitment to the preservation and creation of affordable housing extends beyond bricks and mortar. We invest in the individual needs, well-being, and self-sufficiency of the households at our properties. To that end, we collaborate with community organizations, employ social services professionals to address the needs of our residents and provide assistance and linkages to appropriate programs, services, as well as provide social programming to facilitate a sense of community at the properties. Service programming at each property is developed and facilitated to meet the needs of the residents.



Turnstone provides a multitude of different affordable housing locations in IL and FL and serves both families and individuals who age and income qualify. 

Turnstone only offers permanent housing. There are no options for emergency or temporary housing. 

Each property has different qualifications. Reach out to the property manager contact listed for each development for more information. When you contact the property manager, they can answer questions regarding apartment availability, rent, income requirements or restrictions and how to obtain an application for housing.

Each development has its own qualification criteria. You can contact each property of interest to discuss the qualification with the staff. 

We have developments in Illinois and in Florida (Ft. Lauderdale, St. Augustine, and Lakeland).

Turnstone makes it a priority to foster an inclusive environment. Our properties provide accessible, affordable housing for physically disabled residents in an independent living environment. Many of our properties have apartments specifically designed with accessible features. Please contact the property you are interested in for more information about accessibility options.
